Classic celebrations with timeless details will never go out of style, especially in Atlanta, and we were thrilled when Sara and Chase shared their wedding day plans with us. They dreamed of reciting their vows at one of the oldest churches in Atlanta, they knew they wanted to capture gorgeous portraits, and they couldn’t wait to celebrate with their guests at what is now one of our go-to country clubs in the city. We can’t wait to share more of Sara and Chase’s day with you.

This sweet couple each spent their mornings getting ready separately with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. Sara shared time with her mom and sister, and just after Sara put on her incredible convertible off-the-shoulder gown, she enjoyed a heartfelt first look with her dad, followed by a very fun first look with her bridesmaids. We loved the intentionality of the time everyone spent together before leaving for the ceremony.

The couple decided to do a first look at Peachtree Christian Church, so they could use the historical brick and architecture as their back drop. Their parents were able to watch from inside the church as they saw each other for the first time. Then the couple proceeded to take photos with their wedding party and parents so that they could get to the reception sooner after the ceremony was over.

Once they were officially married, the couple spent their first moments capturing photos with their overjoyed wedding party. This group was so fun and wearing incredible attire (beautiful dusty blue floor-length dresses for the bridesmaids; a gorgeous floral number for Sara’s matron of honor; and classic tuxedos for the groomsmen) to boot! Of course, Ansley Golf Club has beautiful grounds and wonderful natural light, too, so of course we made sure there was time for portraits at the club by Amy of Amy Arrington Photography .These couple’s portraits will look so beautiful framed in their home.

Ansley Golf Club is a beautiful country club in the heart of Atlanta. It has a lush golf course and garden areas for photos and a clean, more on the modern side ballroom. Sara and Chase took a golf cart out to some of the skyline views to read their private vows and take in their new titles as husband and wife.

The amazing staff at the club begins to care for guests the moment they walk in the room—it’s incredible to witness! Because the space, located right in the heart of Midtown, is so effortlessly classic, Sara and Chase chose to accent it with a neutral color palette. Each table featured a low centerpiece by Urban Blooms Atlanta filled with white roses, white stock and greenery, which looked perfect and easily allowed guests to mingle and talk throughout dinner.

Throughout the night, Sara and Chase listened to sweet speeches, dined on an array of stations prepared by the Ansley Golf Club team, and kept the dance floor packed with lots of high energy, thanks to the band Rhythm Nation.

From the gorgeous church setting at Peachtree Christian Church to the welcoming reception at Ansley Golf Club, Sara and Chase’s Atlanta wedding could not have been more beautiful or timeless.
